The Relationship Morning Breakfast With Concentration Study MTs-SA Jabbal Nuur Wates Kediri
The breakfast is an activity that almost everyone does every morning. Intake of food in consumption when breakfast is a provision to move throughout the day, however there are still many people who neglect breakfast. Breakfast in children before the school is important, many do not do breakfast when leaving school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of breakfast with a concentration in class VIII student learning. In this study using correlation design with cross sectional approach. The population is all students of class VIII MTS-SA Jabbal Nuur in District Wates Kediri. By using total sampling technique then the sample is a whole class VIII, as many as 71 students. Data collection for the independent variable was the morning breakfast with a questionnaire. The dependent variable is the concentration of learning by using grid test concentration. Furthermore, the data processing includes editing, coding, scoring, tabulating and analyzed using Chi Square test. From the research found students who do breakfast 62% and that does not do breakfast 38%. While the students were concentrated learning with good criterion 32,4%, while 42.3% and 25.4% poor. In the statistical test Chi Square showed that the count = 23.62 whereas x2 x2 table = 5.991 with a significance level of 0.05% so that the count â‰¥ x2 x2 table, it means Ha accepted. So there is a relationship between breakfast with a concentration in class VIII student learning. Based on the results of the study, students are expected to perform a full breakfast before leaving for school in the morning to be able to move well, especially when learning takes place.
